Join local soprano Skye Donald (choir director at St. Stephen’s in Qualicum Beach) and Nanaimo pianist Sharon Wishart for an evening of sacred music and scripture. The program is made up of favorite sacred vocal solos, such as The Holy City (Adams), The Lord’s Prayer (Malotte), and the Alleluja from Mozart’s Exsultate Jubilate, interspersed with short passages of scripture to introduce song sets. With familiar melodies and selections mainly in English, the program is accessible to all listeners and is sure to please. Admission is by donation, making this an exciting opportunity for everyone to hear this talented duo.
